As of 2006:
It is possible to register and login to an account via login.gov.
I do not see anything about ID.me.

Individuals may file without an account.
As far as I know, I have always filed as an individual without an account.

Important Information:

• Deadline: The FBAR deadline is April 15, but an automatic extension is granted until October 15.
• Registration: While you can file as an individual without registering, creating a free account allows you to save drafts and check status.
• Authorized Filers: If a third party files for you, use FinCEN Report 114a to authorize them.
• Safety Notice: The FBAR filing is free. Be aware of phishing sites that charge to file this form.
